作为一个具有浪漫情怀又充满理想主义精神的年轻艺术家来说，杨彦的视野和胸襟较早被打开，也正因为这一点，“天下主义”意识激发出的人文关怀成就了他的艺术人生。

从他各个时期的艺术作品中不难看岀他对天下苍生的悲悯和对大自然的一往情深，聆听远山对心灵的呼唤。踢破“东篱”去！问道上“南山”是他生命前行的号角。

他一次次进藏、入疆、游走世界、探寻海底、跋涉穿行各类地貌，在多次历险中正悟生命的无常和意义。在天下主义和世界主义者看来，人类的文明和觉醒是没有的国界的，目历了地球上的山川地貌、历史文化和风土人情之后，在从宏观气象入微观情致的艺术表达时，一颗闪烁着人性光辉的高妙灵魂活跃在“我心中的祥云里”（这个世界会好的，在我的眼里，一切都是美好的，我心中的祥云覆盖着大地）！
